Those typewriters in your pictures look like and remind me of the one my family used when I was a child and those I used in Army day-rooms to write letters home and for assignments in college.

Thank you for sharing those memories. Typewriters are splendid machines. At our home, we had an Olivetti. It had a beautiful sound, and was very compact. I like how using it encouraged forming full thoughts before typing out words to minimize error.
