I ran into Gloria again, faithfully sweeping her assigned location, as her colleague Roberto does everyday.
I have a great deal of affection for street sweepers, garbage collectors, and others who do the hard, good work of keeping the city clean. I think we should thank them every single chance we get, and I try to do my part in helping them feel appreciated.
